The 48 laws of power – by Robert GreeneThis is one of my favorite books. Robert Greene successfully extract 48 laws of power from over 2000 years of history, showing the pattern there is between the people that succeeded and the ones that failed by describing the principles behind their actions.

• The art of seduction – by Robert Greene: The book analyses the psychology behind the seduction using as examples historical figures as Marilyn Monroe, Cleopatra, Casanova and J. F. Kennedy and presenting 9 types of seducers and 18 types of victims.

• Mastery – by Robert Greene: The book analyses the characters that throughout history stood out for their qualities that allowed them to be perceived as geniuses focusing on the traits and paths that led them to achieve mastery.

• Influence – by Robert Cialdini: the book explains the psychology behind why people say yes, analyzing the six principles that influence that behavior and how to master (and defend yourself from) it.

• The power of now – by Eckhart Tolle: the book is a self-help guide for day-to-day living and stresses the importance of living in the present moment and avoiding thoughts of the past or future. It’s a great tool for anyone that want to implement some useful directions before starting practicing meditation.
